STEYPA 2013 in Djúpavík

In the summer of 2013, a photography exhibition will be held inside the old herring factory in Djúpavík (Westfjords, Iceland). The title of the exhibition is „STEYPA“ – the Icelandic word for concrete, which is the material that the old factory is predominately made of.


STEYPA 2013 in Djúpavík

Seven photographers from Iceland and abroad will take part and show their very personal and individual views on Iceland – accompanied at times by text, drawings and sounds – at three locations inside the fascinating old herring factory in Djúpavík.

The photographers‘ work will be displayed from June 1 through August 31. The exhibition is open daily from 9 am until 6 pm. Entrance is free of charge.
